The Tenderloin district of San Francisco is not always easy on the eyes. This unpolished neighbourhood juts up right next to the financial district. It can be difficult to see so many people living rough. However, this area also has a very rich history (it became a residential neighbourbood shortly after the gold rush). As I wandered the areas this morning (following a guided app), I found myself engaged in heartwarming conversations with people who call these streets their home. Clockwise from Top Left: Leroy, Greg, Jamie, and Tony.
